Forging a New Path Under the Agrimark Banner

In October 2024, Forge stores, operating in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), are changing to Agrimark, a move which promises exciting opportunities for both customers and communities.

This change is part of Agrimark’s strategic drive to create a unified brand identity across all regions, integrating the KZN branches with Agrimark.

“Forge and Agrimark share a similar product range and instore experience, with aligned operational processes,” says Arno Abeln, Managing Director of Agrimark Operations, “so it made sense to create one, unified brand identity across all regions. The change also allows the stores to take advantage of Agrimark’s buying power, product promotions, digital platforms and other initiatives.”

According to Tasneem Sulaiman-Bray, Director of Corporate Affairs, the brand changes will be implemented seamlessly across both marketing collateral and physical signage.

“All existing Forge stores will be rebranded with our distinctive branding visible across all locations, including signage, staff uniforms, corporate stationery, marketing materials, and communication channels.”

Branches in Nottingham, Mooi River, Bergville, Underberg, Ladysmith, and Franklin will undergo the brand change.  “The shift from Forge to Agrimark represents growth,  a commitment to excellence, and is part of our broader brand unification strategy. The rebranding will not affect existing products, services, or business relationships,” says Tasneem.

“Agrimark has an extensive footprint with a network of more than 80 stores and associated brands serving our extensive agricultural and retail customer base. This is an exciting transition giving customers a consistent brand experience, no matter where they are in the country,” promises Arno.
