Fair Cape Dairies is delighted to announce that it has won seven Qualité Awards at this year’s South African National Dairy Championships.
A Qualité Award is a symbol of outstanding quality for dairy products which is only awarded to South African Dairy Champions which have obtained a specific minimum point on the international scorecard.
The Fair Cape products that scooped the prestigious Qualité Awards this year were Fair Cape Eco-Fresh Full Cream Milk; Fair Cape Full Cream Plain Yoghurt; Fair Cape Full Cream Guava Yoghurt; Woolworths Chocolate Mousse; Fair Cape Chocolate Dessert; Woolworths Whipping Cream; and Fair Cape Whipping Cream.
Louis Loubser, marketing director of Fair Cape Dairies, says that the company is immensely proud of this achievement. “Winning even one Qualité award at the SA National Dairy Championships is a huge accomplishment and to win seven is a major triumph for us. We’re thrilled that our products have received the recognition of this highly respected stamp of approval.”
The seven Qualité Awards were received in addition to 29 South African Dairy Champion Awards that were presented to Fair Cape Dairies at this year’s South African National Dairy Championships in a virtual ceremony on 26 March 2020. The championships seek to recognise and reward the quality of dairy products, in a bid to promote excellence in the dairy industry and elevate the profile of the industry amongst consumers.
